Hi Nagi,
Responding to your plight re shaping pav to sloping inward edges. I call that an intrinsic property of strength.
I have B.App.Sc and engineer: sloping sides that “move” towards each other in a curve are far stronger than straight sides. Refer to Roman aquaducts. Still around after 2000 years.
